One Epic Place to Play

There’s more than enough room to play at Placer One with approximately 334 acres of park and recreation facilities. Head out on the biking and walking trails, hang out at the skate park, roam among the community and edible gardens or take in the abundant art around the area.

Parks and Green Spaces

Abundant public parks, paseos, open space, trails and gathering places are planned for Placer One. At project buildout, Placer One is designed to have at least 525 acres of publicly-accessible green space, which equates to approximately 0.1 acres per residential unit.

Parks

Placer One’s first phase of development includes three public neighborhood parks and three public pocket parks, currently amounting to an estimated 15.5 acres of parks.

Hawk’s Perch, a 4.5-acre Neighborhood Park, will be Placer One’s first park, planned to open in 2027. Located south of Sunset Boulevard in the heart of single-family residential neighborhoods east of Fiddyment, Hawk’s Perch Park blends active recreation with nature-based play. A grand entry pavilion including a public restroom, shaded gathering with picnic seating, and communal BBQs anchors the main neighborhood entry. Two pickleball courts, a basketball court, a youth ballfield, a U12 soccer practice field, and a gaming court with cornhole will support multigenerational activity and everyday use. At the heart of the park sits a destination playground themed around the native Swainson’s Hawk and grassland habitat. The area invites imaginative exploration through a signature “Nest” play structure, embankment play zones, climbing features, a perched hawk sculpture, and a periscope for viewing. Active and passive lawn areas along with strategically placed picnic nodes create a balanced, community-oriented environment where residents can play, gather, and connect.

Two additional neighborhood parks (PR-104 and PR-105) and the private park (PR-109) are currently in planning stages. Pocket parks in various stages of design include Skipper, Odyssey, and Scholar.
