Located one mile west of Highway 65 in the southern portion of the Sunset Area Plan and bordering the City of Roseville to the south, Placer One is a 2,200-acre master-planned community coming to life through a partnership of Placer County, Sacramento State, Sierra College, and Taylor Builders. In creating a central location for residents from Placer One and surrounding communities to gather, grow and learn, the project is envisioned as a regional epicenter.

Placer One includes a major employment area, town center, university, expansive parks and paseos, and natural open space that will be connected by an extensive bikeway network. Neighborhoods will offer a varied selection of homes and apartments for residents at all stages of life, including 5,600 single-family, high-density and age-restricted residential units.
