Taylor Builders Announces Sale of 238 Single-Family Lots to JMC Homes

JMC Homes closing purchase on Villages three through seven, further strengthening its support of the Placer One community

ROSEVILLE, Calif. – Dec. 20, 2024 – Taylor Builders today announced the successful sale of Villages three through seven in Phase 1A of the Placer One community to JMC Homes, a leading homebuilder in California. This transaction will allow JMC Homes, which purchased the first lot within the Placer One community in May, to further strengthen its position in the development, delivering even more high-quality homes to local families.

The 238 single-family lots, located south of Sunset Boulevard between Fiddyment Road, Momentum Drive and Woodcreek Oaks Blvd., will be developed into a vibrant new community that reflects JMC Homes’ commitment to developing, designing and building master-planned communities in the greater Sacramento area.

KB Home becomes second builder partner announced on the project. 

ROSEVILLE, Calif. – Oct. 10, 2024 – Taylor Builders today announced KB Home has closed on 253 lots inside the Placer One community, an innovative new living experience in Placer County. KB Home will develop single-family homes throughout four villages — villages eight through 11 — within the 2,200-acre master-planned community’s Phase 1B. 

KB Home is the second builder to close on lots at Placer One, following JMC Homes, which purchased 143 lots for single-family homes earlier this year. The vision actively coming to life within the Placer One master plan development is a vibrant community where art, nature and education come together. Residents and visitors alike will experience the perfect balance of lifestyle amenities, including parks, walking and biking trails, and interactive spaces that foster learning and growth.
